4fv profile No massive gainers today so I just looked at this one stock up 20%. Up 20% in a day, and if you think about it, that's kind of big. And what is the pattern? A delectable early canyon bottom with superb buy signals in it (slightly below today's high). Well, it's going to spike to $2, that's my take. (The buy price here is any price at the open, tomorrow. It's correcting off a dramatic breakout on the ten day hourly chart. With luck we can buy it at 9 cents, but if it gaps up at the open, even to 50 cents, it's a buy ... although less so! We're a day late.) Lesson: start logging stocks that are down. In a few months I'll have a list of amazing canyon bottoms to follow.

Really good. Looks to me like it's setting up for another big rally, like what it did in 2009, which was go up 15 dollars. If it goes up fifteen dollars from here, that's a huge percent gain. Of course, it took six months to go up fifteen dollars last time. Thinking that over, I've decide it probably can be sold at, oh, 60 cents - this assumes it jumps up now - and bought back for half that, so there is a case to be made for that, maybe. The stronger case is probably for just putting in your $50 and holding for a price of $15. Or, how about this: one fifty dollar purchase to hold for $15, one to hold for $5, and one to hold for $.5. It's still only $150 at risk, and even if only the first trade works out it's a gain.

Now what happens? A spike all the way to a dollar? Really? I mean, it's not impossible, but there's also basically 40 cents. Do you bet on that? Was this a major pattern ... or ... no, it was just a pattern.
